Hi, I’m Bre — the hands and heart behind Timid Nymph Designs.

I’m a self taught sculptor, painter, and maker of magical things, currently based in Eastern Pennsylvania. I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember. My childhood was rooted in creativity—my mom sewed my baby clothes and worked as a florist when I was a child. That early exposure planted the seeds of following my dreams of doing something creative.

Fantasy and nature is the lifeblood of my art. It offers an escape from the heaviness of the world—a glowing portal to something more comforting and full of wonder. Through my pieces, I hope to share a bit of that escape with others. I want people to feel inspired, and even a little enchanted, when they hold my work in their hands or hang it on their walls.

In the studio, I work with a variety of mediums: sculpting with oil-based clay and polymer, molding and casting my own frames, creating ceramic vessels, and painting with acrylic and gouache. There’s always something playing in the background—whether it’s a D&D podcast, a fantasy romance audiobook, or one of my favorite movies that feels like home.

My art is a love letter to my childhood. It’s how I quiet my mind and reconnect with the years I spent in Northern California before moving to Pennsylvania. I still miss the redwoods—those towering trees made it feel like a knight or forest nymph might step onto the trail at any moment. My work is my way of returning to that feeling.

Outside of the studio, you’ll find me enjoying good food, hanging out with my Husband, playing video games, wandering Renaissance faires, or hiking through whatever bit of nature I can find.

My dream is to create art full-time and one day build a studio tucked into the woods—where magic and quiet can live side by side.
